Lesson 1 (Teaser): Finding Location, Phone Number + More From a Photo

Before we dive into the course content, I would like to give you a teaser of one of the skills that you will be able to master by the end of the course. Please keep in mind that this is not an in-depth explanation and it's only a teaser of one of many things that you will be able to learn throughout this course. So what we are going to do in this teaser video is show you how we will be able to identify the exact location where this person is standing.

We can see that this is an Instagram post and we can see that there is a person standing in front of a Mercedes car in a neighborhood. In addition to that, we can look at the person's name and this picture might be taken in Memphis, Tennessee. And what we are going to do is to get the exact location and the address of this picture.

Since this is just a teaser lecture, I won't dive into the technical details of how I'm accomplishing this right now. Instead, I'll guide you through the process step by step as you progress through this course. What I'm also going to show you throughout this course is how we can take someone's picture and perform a reverse image search, AI search, or a face recognition search.

But for the sake of this teaser lecture, I'm not going to do this and I'm going to show you some other techniques that you can use to find an image location. Now since we know that this person might be in Memphis, Tennessee, then we can go to a database of wireless access points, search for Memphis, Tennessee. And since many people use their first or last name as the access point name, then we can do this and search for this access point in Memphis, Tennessee and click on query.

And here we can see that Weigel were able to identify six access points right here. So I'm going to zoom in and we can see the access points names written in capital letters. Now since we know where approximately this person lives, we can copy the street name.

After copying the street name, I'm going to search for the person on true people search, which is also something that we are going to cover in this course. We can also see the exact house number, where this is, and their phone number, their age, and much much more. But for now I'm just going to copy the home address and then go to Google Maps and click on the house.

We can see that this might be the building where they might be living. I'm going straight forward. And as you can see, this is the exact same building that we saw in the background.

So let's compare these two images. And as you can see, this is the exact same light and exact same window. We can also see the exact same car that is in the background.

Now let's come back and have a look at this picture. And we can see that this is the exact same car that we saw right here. We can also have a look at the garage and see that this is the exact same garage.

In addition to all of this, you are going to learn how you can download and search in leaked databases. So after downloading the database, I'm going to search for Saad's name, and then click on search. And as you can see, we have got a Facebook profile and we can also see their user ID and their phone number.

Now you are going to be learning much more than this. In this course, you will be learning how to download different databases and how you can search in them to take your awesome investigation to a completely different level. And I'll be covering much more methods, techniques and tools that you can use to get information from almost anything that you have.
